Taj Weekes | Peace & Love
Peace & Love is a music video performed by reggae artist Taj Weekes. Shot on location on the island of St. Lucia, Taj walks us through his childhood neighborhood where violence is prevalent, yet Peace & Love shines through. This video contrasts both of those realities and how they play together.
Project objective
Peace & Love, along with Rain Rain, songs from Taj Weekes' featured album A Waterlogged Soul Kitchen, Taj hired me to concept and direct both videos as part of his marketing strategy for his newly released album in 2010.
Taj Weekes is among twelve Saint Lucians appointed as Goodwill Ambassadors and one of nine as Brand Ambassadors for the country. Taj founded TOCO: They Often Cry Outreach, a non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of Caribbean youth through sports, health, and enrichment programs.
